The invention of Keyboard “QWERTY”
The invention of the Keyboard “QWERTY was amazing. Between the late 1700s and early 1800s, different typing and writing devices were invented. The first practical word typewriter was invented by Christopher Latham Sholes in 1867. Christopher was born in 1819 in Mooresburg and died in 1890. He was an American inventor, Wisconsin, politician and newspaper publisher. This keyboard referred to as the Sholes keyboard, (QWERTY Keyboard). This name was given from keyboard the first five letters “QWERTY”. with some other sources Somehow, they found out that their friend helped them in this way. Using of QWERTY Keyboard
In the whole world, we use the name Keyboard and the actual name of the keyboard is QWERTY Keyboard. This is the most famous type of typing system. We use it at our home and office even in Car. This is the ideal typing system. On the keyboard, there is no one type of keys. The Basic keyboard contains 104 keys and is enough to perform all the functions that can be done on our PC. It has four types of keys:
- Function Keys
- Typewriter Keys
- Cursor Control Keys
- Numeric Keys
Function Keys:
The F keys or function keys are lined along the top of the keyboard and labeled from F1 to F12. These keys act as shortcuts, performing certain functions, like printing data, saving files or refreshing a page. For example, the F1 key is often used as a help key in many programs.
Typewriter Keys
The English alphabet keys ABCD are the typewriter keys we use in this form “QWERTY”. The actual name of the “QWERT” keyboard is due to this sequence of keys. All the 26 English alphabet keys this type of keyboard using not just for computers even its using in mobile and Tabs texting keyboard.
Cursor Control Keys
The Cursor Control Keys are on the right side of the keyboard and between the Numeric Keys and Typewriter Keys. These keys just move your cursor right, left, up and down.
Numeric Keys
As its name implies Numeric Keys the keys that use for numeric calculations and writing some numbers etc.
